Emotion is the experience of energy moving through the body.
We are designed to express our emotions openly and freely
When they aren’t expressed they stay stored in our muscles, their memory is stored on a cellular level, and it interrupts the flow of Qi, which affects the way we move, we live our lives.
In my workshops and classes, we acknowledge that our emotions exist, and we make space and time to express them.
We use arious mind body techniques to release the pent-up tension that's weighing on our emotional and physical well-being. These techniques could involve breathing exercises, meditation, dance, and other forms of body movement.
We learn to build trust with our bodies, we explore what they are willing to express, and we meet ourselves where we are at with deep compassion.
We guide our bodies to express freely, releasing everything, as we move through the motions, the imprints of trauma, the activations, the triggers stuck.
It's very important to pay attention to the sensations within, to attune to our body signals, to the nervous system, and to finally cater to it all by bringing awareness, presence, full acknowledgment so we can intentionally and somatically embrace ourselves and release it all.
Movement has been a very cathartic healing modality for me, as I express myself during intuitive movement, I transcend to another frequency and elevate my vibration.
I surrender to my inner landscape and process emotions through movement, engaging healing in in the process.
We allow in intuitive movement our body to move through our emotions, we give ourselves permission to feel, we release layer by layer our unprocessed emotions as they come.
In fact, we dance to release, we flush out all the unwanted and repressed however way it comes.
It is a form of self-expression where we surrender to the rhythm and reach a state of ecstatic feelings.
As everything moves, everything in us vibrates, every thought, every emotion, action creates vibration through the infinite field of consciousness, so why not call in the highest of the frequencies that serve our highest good: the frequency of joy, of love, of bliss and freedom.
Intuitive movements allow us to surrender to ourselves and trust into our bodies.
It allows awareness to deepen the connection within. With movement, we come home to ourselves, raw, real and unbound
My intuitive movement practices can be guided at times, or fully spontaneous to lead to what is called an ecstatic dance.
You are invited to close your eyes and let go, free to move however you feel, there is no choreography to follow and most importantly: there is nothing but love and acceptance in the space. It is safe for you to truly express yourself how you want.
In the beginning stages of this practice, I provide guidance, as it might happen that you feel a bit self-conscious at first, but then as you just focus on the music and feel into it, it becomes easier.
You can start slow and move through the insecurities, use some basic movements to help you tap into a safer and trusting space with yourself, or at times I guide you and invite you into some movements and allow you to build trust with your own movement. I usually suggest tapping your feet to the beat, or bobbing your head, and gradually increasing your movements - there is no need to go all wild if you don’t want to.
